Any clear photo of your face works. Front-facing, well-lit, no glasses or hats. The background does not matter because it is going to be replaced anyway.
Go to /tool. You do not need an account.
Under Output, switch from Transparent to White. This gives you a JPG-style flat white background instead of a PNG with alpha.
Drop the photo in. Processing takes about 20 seconds on average.
Open the result. The background should be a uniform white with no shadows or edges. If it looks off, try again with a different photo or process it twice.
The portal checks for a plain background and a face that fills a certain portion of the frame. If your photo meets those criteria after background replacement, it will pass.
Aadhaar accepts photos between 20KB and 50KB, usually around 200 by 230 pixels. You can resize the output in the editor after processing.
No. The photo is processed in memory on the server and deleted immediately after.
